I'm very much interested in marketing field, so I'm aiming to be a global marketer to sell products globally. To make my dreams come true, I believe that these three strong points will lead me to this lifetime career of myself.
First, languages skills, especially English ability is highly important and I'm quite confident with my English skills. Even though I have just only one year of studying abroad experience, I think I've maintained good English skills to communicate with foreigners in English. I got 980 score in TOEIC and Intermediate High level in OPIc which is very popular English speaking test. Also, I'm majoring in Japanese and I've studied Japanese more than 6 years. I can speak Japanese very well without studying abroad in Japan. When I first began to study Japanese in my high school, it was so much fun to learn new language. Japanese is very similar with Korean in grammar and I became to be fond of Japanese dramas and singers. I think that was the reason how I got the highest level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test in just two years of studying Japanese. I can learn new language relatively easily and that is my first strong point.
Second, analyzing skills, especially when I'm watching CFs, I'm trying to analyze each of CFs without even realizing doing so. I love to watch CFs which is not very common habit to others. When I watch CF, I find out its main point or meanings. I'm doing it without even knowing it, but it's a lot of fun to do. For example, LG air conditioner CF is with Tae Hwan, Park to fight with Yeon Ah, Kim. Recently, Yeon Jae, Son is with Tae Hwan, Park to promote LG's new air conditioner. Nobody around me understood or even was curious about Yeon Jae, Son, but I knew there must be some other reasons for Yeon Jae, Son to be in the CF. I found out the reason while I was watching the CF. She was for small, easy to move air conditioner which was a part of big air conditioner. Therefore, Tae Hwan, Park was for the big one and Yeon Jae, Son was for the small one. It's my habit to try to understand CF's main meanings and I think it is very useful feature to work as a marketer.
Lastly, I'm an active communicator. I'm good at public speaking especially, and I'm good at group discussion which is very important thing in work places to produce new marketing strategies. I prefer to take classes which are doing some presentations in class and I participate in it a lot. I like public speaking and I think my public speaking skills are becoming better and better every time. I make my presentation with 10-20-30 rule: 10 slides, in 20 minutes, with minimum font size 30. I got good grades in public speaking classes before, so I'm very confident with my public speaking skills.
These are the three strong points that I have for my future career. I will keep finding my new positive features from now on as well.

Three abilities for my potential career.

1. You point out your main point at the very front of your whole essay. It made me feel that the main point you want to present very clear and easy to get it.
2. You gave me specific reasons for every part you wrote. For example, you gave me exact score of the English and Japanese test you took, therefore it became much more strong to support your good ability of languages.
3.I liked your explanation about CF, LG air conditioner. This was really interesting reading your analysis about the changed model, as well as being a strong support oof presenting and persuading your ability to analyze CFs.
4. Also, it was impressive to know your rules of presentation. It seemed really professional. I have never even thought of it.
To talk about the things to improve your writing...
I would like to suggest that it would be greater if you add some kind of insights mentions about your future career in the conclusion.
Thank you for sharing your three strong points as a global marketer. Those three abilities you mentioned seem very important to sell thing globally. First of all, I envy you for the fact that you can speak TWO foreign languages! Where do you think you would work at in the future? I guess no matter where you are, ability to speak many languages will be a help in your career.
ReplyDeleteThe think I want you to change to improve your writing is the names of celebrity in your writing. I understand that we put comma(,) after the last name when we write last name first like Park, Tae-hwan. There are lists of names on and on, and some of are repetitive. I guess it is too complicated to read naturally. The athletes in your writing have different last names, so maybe you can write only their last names after you mentioned their full name first. Or you can change the order of names so that you don't have to write comma.

What it means to feel confident in public speaking and group discussion is that I can make my opinion clear to others without being aggressive or rude. I’m very confident to stand on stage to have a presentation which I prepared thoroughly. Of course, I prepare and prepare to have the most successful presentations or speeches and I think my hard working for preparation is also my great ability.

These days, I’m deeply interested in making commercial films, working for a trading company, or an electronics company, or even a tourist service company. These days, I’m looking for a summer internship programs to learn some practical experience in my career field, but getting an internship is much more difficult than I’ve expected. I know I’m not in a hurry to get a job because I have one more semester to go for finishing university. So, I’m going to try my best to prepare for my future career during this summer vacation.
